Sports Pitch Drainage Installation
The effectiveness and value for money delivered by the Turfdry Drainage System can be gauged by the amount of repeat business generated from individual clients, a prime example of which can be seen in Turfdry's successful work with Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council (NULBC), Staffordshire.
Having made on-site assessments of two otherwise identical football pitch drainage systems installed by Turfdry for Tameside Borough Council (one using conventional plastic pipe, and the other using Hydraway Sportsdrain), NULBC officers were amazed by the dramatic difference in drainage results, and procured the Turfdry Drainage System using Hydraway Sportsdrain for a Football Foundation funded project at Roe Lane, Clayton. The success of this project was such that NULBC were convinced that they finally had a value-for-money solution to waterlogged sports pitches.
Testimonial
“All of our major sites now have the Turfdry Drainage System, which has continued to perform to an extremely high standard year upon year, with pitches often remaining playable at times when other matches are called off. We really are very pleased with the system.
We have not completed any further pitch drainage work due to the reduction in local authority funding for such projects.”
Jennet Hough, Landscape Officer, Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council
