Following the club’s successful campaign in the 2017/18 Championship season, which saw the club gain promotion back into the Premier League via the playoffs after a dramatic run of good form, Fulham FC were looking to make some drainage improvements to their Motspur Park training facilities.

Although the club already has a comprehensive drainage system installed on its training pitches, the existing system did not extend to the pitch surrounds, resulting in substantial damage to the surface, and significant disruption of training activities by limiting the areas suitable for drills. Having received “word-of-mouth” recommendation regarding the efficient performance and quick, minimally disruptive installation process of Turfdry’s unique Hydraway Sportsdrain, the club were convinced that it represented the ideal solution to their waterlogging woes.

Following the installation, the system has performed admirably, with the area in question having transformed from a waterlogged bog that the grounds staff were constantly battling with heavy applications of sand, into a beautiful surface that blends seamlessly into the impressive facilities that make up the rest of the site.
